Why are our prices so low?

You are probably wondering how we can charge our hourly fee when others are charging much more.

We've done sites for as little as Twenty Five Dollars and done as much as Fourteen Thousand Dollars work for the same client. We don't aim to be the cheapest, we aim to be the best for the money.

We have low overhead, and we choose our promotions carefully, but we do have experience and skill and a desire to create a website you will love at an affordable price. We also have partnered with a number of others who provide web templates, web hosting, and domain names at very good prices -- so we've done the shopping around for you!

Unless our costs increase (which sometimes happens), or you offer us more money (which, happily, also sometimes happens), your website design and maintenace fees will be a few months from now very much the same as they were when we started working for you.

Since March 1, 2005 (our last rate change, in order to meet client needs, we have:

• bought an additional computer
• added 3 more servers (7 in total now)
• hired another freelance contractor
• subscribed to a graphics service so we can offer a wider variety of web design
• learned php programming to serve you better
• built and additional 100 websites and gained more experience
• done weeks of research with regard to internet marketing in order to provide better experiential advice to our clients

In addition, the exchange rate between the US dollar and the Cdn dollar has dropped from 1.51 to 1.00. Since most of our clients are in the United States, we have changed our rates to correspond.

Payment and fees

For projects under One Hundred Dollars, we require payment in full before proceeding. However, we will make every effort to make certain that you are satisfied with the quality and delivery of your website. From our testimonials and ebay feedback, you can see that most clients get MORE than they expected.

For projects over One Hundred Dollars, we require payment of 50% before proceeding.

For ongoing work, we will require a deposit, and interim billing will occur every 2-4 weeks, depending on the amount of work being done.

Thanks to Renegades Club Airdrie, MyHouseCanada.com, Pure Bliss Day Spa, CornwallShoppingCentre.ca and others unnamed who delayed payment for months, or never paid, there are no exceptions to this policy.
